The Muransky Companies in Boardman, OH, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to manage federal, state, and local tax accounting and compliance across a multi-entity portfolio. This is an in-office, full-time role focusing on tax filings, records, research, and coordinating with external advisors and auditors.

You will build tax workpapers, perform reconciliation, and support quarterly and annual tax provisions while identifying process improvements to strengthen internal controls and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of dedicated corporate tax preparation or public accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting principles is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities are essential.
• This is a 100% in-office, full-time role (no remote or hybrid work).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate federal, state, and local tax returns for multiple entities; including income, personal property, and sales/use tax filings.
• Build tax workpapers, supporting schedules, and ledger reconciliations; assist with tax provisioning.
• Serve as a key contact for external tax advisors and auditors; gather documentation and respond to requests.
• Track changes in federal, state, and local tax regulations and analyze impact on business transactions.
• Routinely reconcile tax-related GL accounts and maintain multi-entity records.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal tax controls and reporting workflows.
