Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Commercial Property Accountant in Minneapolis for a backfill role on a collaborative, long-tenured accounting team. You will own the full accounting cycle for real estate portfolios, prepare monthly statements, and partner with property managers in a hybrid work setting.

Qualified candidates have 2–5+ years in commercial real estate or property accounting, hands-on budgeting and CAM reconciliations, and ERP experience (Yardi, MRI, JDE).

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in commercial real estate or property accounting.
• Hands-on budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and full-cycle accounting.
• ERP experience (Yardi, MRI, JDE, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements for commercial properties.
• Record accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Own budgets, reforecasts, and year-end operating expense/CAM reconciliations.
• Track capital projects, WIP, and assets placed into service.
• Perform general ledger analysis and resolve variances.
• Support audits, tax preparation, and special projects.
• Work within an ERP environment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
