Lockton is seeking an Account Manager – Real Estate in Portland, OR to provide high-level client service for a designated book of business, including marketing, claims, and administration. You will respond to inquiries, gather documentation, and coordinate with carriers to implement new lines of coverage.

The role requires strong knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years of Client services experience.
• Strong knowledge of brokerage/commercial insurance industry.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to attend industry training and stay updated on regulations.
• Understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to expand insurance knowledge beyond CE requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle heavy workloads.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; maintains confidentiality.

Aufgaben

• Serves designated book of business for marketing, claims, and administration.
• Responds to Client inquiries and documents communications and resolutions.
• Supports implementation of new coverages by setting up accounts and collecting docs.
• Ensures accuracy of exposure information and loss-run data.
• Requests and reviews quotes from carriers and audits them as needed.
• Processes audits and creates audit analyses for Clients.
• Updates policy information and reflects changes during the year.
• Monitors quotes from carriers and coordinates with senior staff.
• Binds coverage under direction of Unit Manager/Account Executive.
• Keeps Client informed of changes impacting premiums or coverage.
• Gathers information for new business opportunities and inputs data.
• Generates materials for Client presentations and meetings.
• Manages compliance communications and collaborates with Accounting on billing.
