Job summary

Blue Owl is a leading asset manager seeking a Senior Associate, Accounting to join its Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) team in Chicago. You will support monthly close, cash management, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 4–6 years in public accounting or real estate, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with SEC reporting and SOX controls. CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in public accounting and/or the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP as it relates to real estate accounting.
• Understanding of SEC reporting requirements and public company accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with fund administrators and provide documentation for the monthly close.
• Prepare audit support schedules and assist with SEC filings (forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K).
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting.
