Blue Owl, a leading asset manager, seeks an energetic Senior Associate for its non-traded REIT accounting team in Chicago. You will support monthly reporting, ASC 805 allocations, and NAV calculations, coordinating with joint venture partners and lenders.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in public accounting or real estate, strong GAAP knowledge, and Excel proficiency. Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifikationen

• 4–6 years of public accounting or real estate industry experience.
• Knowledge of historical cost and/or fair value GAAP.
• Ability to understand leases, debt agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Leverage AI as a tool to drive efficiency.
• Must be deadline focused, organized, and exhibit problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to efficiently utilize Excel spreadsheets.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• CPA preferred, not required.

Aufgaben

• Monthly Reporting: provide fund administrators with supporting documentation for month-end close and review monthly workbooks.
• Cash management: prepare/review wire requests and coordinate with AP to ensure timely payments.
• Audit and Tax: review REIT tests and assist in quarterly financial statements in Workiva.
• Coordinate with internal teams on new investments and ongoing operations.
• Prioritize ad hoc requests while meeting reporting deadlines.
