Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Project Manager to supervise mix batch plant operations, batching ready mix, driver supervision, and overall project performance in Ohio. You will manage deadlines, staffing, and customer satisfaction while controlling costs and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety rules, coordinating with plant operations, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ACI Level 1 Field Certification.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale project managing all aspects to successful completion - ensuring deadlines are met, staffing is appropriate and scheduled efficiently and within budget
• Enforce company safety rules and conduct safety meetings, including tool box talks; ensure facilities are operating in a safe manner.
• Oversee the customer experience, develop customer relationship and ensure strong communication throughout the project.
• Cost responsibility at their assigned locations. Strive to lower cost and increase productivity through efficiency and innovations.
• Manage jobsite quality control testing and submit within given timeframes.
