Job summary

Preferred Materials - Concrete Division, part of CRH South Division, seeks a Ready Mix Plant Manager for the Melbourne, FL plant. You will lead batching, safety, and delivery operations, drive on-time performance, and develop a high-performing team of drivers and plant personnel.

Working with the Regional Operations Manager, you will control costs, ensure quality, and meet regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience with Ready Mix Concrete is required.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers and all company personnel.
• Management; staff supervision experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee batching of concrete and ensure proper mix design and job specifications.
• Direct work at plant locations and ensure on-time delivery with zero lost loads and zero customer complaints.
• Promote safety, conduct inspections, and manage payroll-related tasks as needed.
