Job summary

Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is seeking a Concrete Plant Manager for our Tampa Bay area ready-mix plant. You will lead a team, coordinate production, manage inventory, and optimize plant performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires leadership skills, batching expertise, and a commitment to safety. You will oversee operations, drive efficiency, and ensure reliable production to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Ready-Mix, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of batching processes, plant equipment, and quality control standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver License with driving record that meets company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise plant team members: Loader Operator, Delivery Professionals, etc.
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality.
• Efficiently and accurately batch concrete while optimizing plant efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and adjust production processes to maintain optimal output levels and minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize pant downtime and maximize productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and additives to ensure production of high-quality concrete that meets customer specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
