Preferred Materials is seeking an experienced Ready Mix Plant Manager to lead the Palmetto, Florida operation. You will oversee production, fleet coordination, safety performance, quality control, and customer satisfaction, while developing a high-performing team.

As Plant Manager, you will drive daily operations, manage budgeting and KPIs, partner with dispatch, sales, and quality control, and champion safety, environmental excellence, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a concrete production operation or similar plant.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Proven ability to communicate with staff, customers, and partners.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfort with outdoor work and physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee ready mix plant operations, batching, and daily production.
• Ensure on-time concrete production meeting mix designs and customer specs.
• Manage inventory, raw materials, and plant performance metrics.
• Drive KPIs, continuous improvement, and safe operating practices.
• Lead and develop drivers, yard staff, and plant personnel.
