Job summary

Preferred Materials - Concrete Division, part of CRH South Division, seeks a Ready Mix Plant Manager to lead the Melbourne plant. You will supervise concrete delivery, batching, safety, and daily operations, driving 100% on-time delivery, driver productivity and zero lost loads.

The role requires experience in ready mix, strong leadership, bilingual English/Spanish, and DOT certification preferred. On-site position with opportunities for growth within CRH network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience with Ready Mix Concrete is required.
• Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers and all company personnel.
• English/Spanish bilingualism preferred.
• DOT Certification preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand maps.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment.
• Evaluate, Oversee, and Manage all aspects of Batch Operations.
• Evaluate, monitor, and coach personnel supervised.
• Manage the workforce assigned to your plant daily.
• Direct work at plant locations and job sites.
• Review time cards, act on, and where appropriate, approve payroll claims.
• Attend and ensure on-time monitoring and reporting.
