Cemex US is seeking a responsible Ready-Mix Driver in Sarasota, FL. The role involves safely operating concrete mixer trucks and delivering loads to commercial and residential sites, with physical tasks like handling extension chutes and potential 50‑pound lifts.

Ideal candidates hold a CDL A/B, a high school diploma, and a clean FMCSA record. Strong English skills and safety focus are essential for daily operations and teamwork with dispatch.

Formación

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B).
• High School diploma preferred. Driver must qualify as not prohibited in FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to safety rules and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
• Deliver and ensure timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
• Adapt discharge methods to different site settings and conditions.
• Attach and manage extension chutes for precise concrete pouring.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical soundness of the ready-mix truck.
• Provide outstanding customer service and project a professional image for Cemex.
• Coordinate with dispatch and other team members for efficient operations.
