Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to safely operate concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites in the Tampa area. The role involves navigating varied conditions and handling extension chutes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and compliance, timely deliveries, discharge management, equipment upkeep, and strong customer service. Ideal candidates have CDL A/B, clean driving records, and good safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B). High School diploma preferred. Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Excellent English reading, writing, speaking.
• Clean CSA and MVR records; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Strong safety protocol knowledge for construction and transportation.
• Ability to follow supervisor guidance; basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is desirable.
