Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a CDL driver to operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete to customer sites in the Ithaca area. You will perform safety inspections and maintain delivery documentation while coordinating with dispatch and plant personnel.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently to deliver concrete to customer job sites
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and adhere to all safety and quality procedures
• Support plant operations as needed to ensure timely and efficient production

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
