Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Ready Mix Driver I to safely operate a ready mix truck and deliver concrete to customer sites on schedule. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading concrete, and clear communication with dispatch and customers while upholding safety standards.

CDL required with a clean driving record and strong customer service skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites on schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
• Load, transport, and unload concrete while maintaining product quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel to ensure efficient deliveries.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic regulations, and company policies.

What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
