Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Ready-Mix Concrete Dispatch Manager in Pavilion, NY to lead daily dispatch, scheduling, and logistics for New York State ready-mix operations. You will guide a team and partner with plant operations, sales, and transportation to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused deliveries.

The role requires experience in dispatch or logistics leadership in a fast-paced setting, strong analytics, and ability to optimize fleet utilization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading dispatch, logistics, or operational teams in fast-paced environments.
• Analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills to balance priorities.
• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation with customer service focus.
• Experience in ready-mix concrete or related industrial logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily dispatch, scheduling, and logistics activities supporting ready-mix operations across New York State.
• Manage and develop a team of dispatch, scheduling, and customer service professionals with accountability, teamwork, customer focus.
• Optimize driver scheduling, fleet utilization, resource planning to improve efficiency and service reliability.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, customer service, workforce planning, and operational effectiveness.
• Partner with plant operations, sales, customer service, and transportation teams to resolve challenges.
