Job summary

Gerhold Concrete Company, Inc., A CRH Company is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites in a safe manner. The role includes performing routine vehicle checks and making operating adjustments as needed to ensure load quality.

Join a safety-focused team within CRH’s regional network. Candidates must hold a Class A or B CDL, pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• CDL required (Class A or B) and valid Medical DOT card.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• 18 years or older; able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete from plant to job site safely and efficiently.
• Inspect truck at start of shift and complete check-off sheets.
• Back truck into batching plant or hopper to receive concrete.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform basic maintenance.
• Follow DOT rules and company safety procedures.
