Job summary

Ready Mixed Concrete Co., a CRH Company, seeks a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites, ensuring safety and efficient delivery. The role requires following DOT rules and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities include performing pre-trip inspections, backing under batch plant, reading maps, and keeping the truck clean. The ideal candidate has a CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ready-mix trucks or related industry preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend basic instructions and maps.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all DOT requirements including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
• Operate truck safely to deliver concrete to job sites and yards.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and complete check-off sheets.
• Back under batching plant or hopper to receive concrete.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform basic maintenance.
• Meet CDL and DOT medical card requirements and work as needed.
