Job summary

Gerhold Concrete Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites in a safe, timely manner. You will perform basic pre-trip inspections, back trucks into loading areas, and help keep equipment clean and well-maintained.

The role requires 18+ years, a Class A or B CDL, a valid medical card, and the ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. DOT compliance and safety come first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ready-mix trucks or related industry preferred.
• Must possess a CDL (Class A or B) and valid Medical Card.
• Must meet DOT and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate and maintain mixer truck equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete to job sites safely and on schedule.
• Operate truck on public highways and yard areas.
• Inspect truck at start of day and complete checks.
• Back trucks into loading areas to receive concrete.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and basic maintenance.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Assist team and adapt to changing duties.
