Job summary

Gerhold Concrete Company, Inc., a CRH Company, is a major regional supplier of concrete and building materials with 15 locations across Nebraska and Iowa. The Ready-Mix Driver will transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to the job site, ensuring safety and proper operation of equipment.

Responsibilities include maintaining DOT compliance, inspecting the truck daily, and performing basic maintenance while working independently or within a team to meet delivery schedules, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL Class A or B with DOT medical card is required.
• Experience with ready-mix trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with DOT requirements (licensing, vehicle inspection, hours of service).
• Operate truck safely to deliver concrete to job sites.
• Inspect truck and complete pre-shift checklist.
• Back truck to receive concrete at batching plant or hopper.
