Job summary

Ampact seeks a Reading Tutor to help students improve their reading skills in local schools. You'll lead sessions and provide targeted support to pairs of students, helping them to enhance confidence and skills.

This is a full-time AmeriCorps position including training. Candidates should be dependable, fluent in English, and have a high school diploma. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to complete a background check.
• History of good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule.
• Track student progress and meet with onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into data software.
