Job summary

Ampact's Reading Corps is seeking a Reading Tutor to help students improve reading skills at a local school. You'll deliver proven activities and be coached every step of the way. Responsibilities include leading tutoring sessions, following a schedule, tracking progress with an on-site coach, and entering scores in data software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable attendance history and punctuality.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, web).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful status required.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule.
