Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in a content area preferred.
• Florida Professional Certificate and full qualification in designated content area; Elementary/Secondary alignment preferred.
• 3–5 years of effective classroom teaching experience with demonstrated gains; VAM scores considered.
• Reading endorsed/certified for relevant content area at the appropriate school level.

Responsibilities

• Assist administrators and teachers in analyzing data to determine needs in the content area.
• Conduct focus walks to collect and analyze data for instructional planning and professional development.
• Plan instruction and assessments using standards, benchmarks, pacing charts, and data from formative assessments to improve instruction.
• Support differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Provide classroom support by observing, modeling, co-teaching, and giving targeted feedback.
• Assist teachers in understanding state and district mandates and their impact on student achievement.
• Develop and deliver school-based professional development in content area and instructional strategies.
• Provide follow-up support for district PD at the school level.
