Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Florida Professional Certificate and be fully qualified in designated content area.
• Three to five years of effective classroom teaching experience with gains in student learning.
• Reading endorsement/certification required for relevant coach roles; highly effective rating expectation from prior evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide teacher-to-teacher coaching, modeling, mentoring and collaboration to improve instructional practices.
• Analyze data to identify needs and plan professional development.
• Assist with planning instruction and assessments aligned to standards and benchmarks.
• Support differentiated instruction and provide feedback to teachers.
• Deliver school-based professional development and build coaching capacity.
• Lead professional learning communities and participate in district/state meetings.
