The University of Virginia seeks a Quality Assurance professional to review and analyze EPIC Reading Room reports while supporting internal audits and team initiatives. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and relevant experience, with opportunities for further education preferred. This role promotes continuous improvements within the department and engages in various departmental projects.
Reviews and analyzes EPIC Reading Room reports and documents audit results. Interacts with various teams to ensure corrective actions and brings QA observations to closure. Maintains audit database information with guidance from IS department ensures accuracy and completeness. Provides oversight for audits delegated to internal departments of radiology. Maintains working knowledge of EPIC PACSand Power Scribe systems. Provides guidance and relevant training/support to all department staff. Interacts with multiple functional groups and supports the development and implementation of new and existing workflow. Interacts with multiple functional groups and provides feedback and promotes continuous improvement across the department of radiology. Supports radiologist assigned to reading rooms with interpretation of studies. Represents QA on various project teams initiatives and participates in special assignments as determined by area supervisor and/or department manager.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience: 1 year relevant experience required.
Licensure: None required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
