An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance departmental workflows and ensure the accuracy of audit results. In this role, you will interact with various teams, analyze data, and implement corrective actions to promote continuous improvement. Your contributions will directly support radiologists and enhance patient care. Reviews and analyzes EPIC Reading Room reports and documents audit results. Interacts with various teams to ensure corrective actions and brings QA observations to closure. Maintains audit database information with guidance from IS department, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Provides oversight for audits delegated to internal departments of radiology. Maintains working knowledge of EPIC PACS and Power Scribe systems. Provides guidance and relevant training/support to all department staff. Interacts with multiple functional groups and supports the development and implementation of new and existing workflows. Promotes continuous improvement across the department of radiology. Supports radiologists in reading rooms with the interpretation of studies. Represents QA on project teams and initiatives, participating in special assignments as determined by supervisors and managers.
Responsibilities include:
Position Compensation Range: $15.07 - $23.36 Hourly
Minimum Requirements:
Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work involving extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel to attend meetings and programs.
