Job description

Reviews and analyzes EPIC Reading Room reports and documents audit results. Interacts with various teams to ensure corrective actions and brings QA observations to closure. Maintains audit database information with guidance from IS department, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Provides oversight for audits delegated to internal departments of radiology. Maintains working knowledge of EPIC PACS and Power Scribe systems. Provides guidance and relevant training/support to all department staff. Interacts with multiple functional groups and supports the development and implementation of new and existing workflows. Promotes continuous improvement across the department of radiology. Supports radiologists in reading rooms with the interpretation of studies. Represents QA on project teams and initiatives, participating in special assignments as determined by supervisors and managers.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring comprehensive and coordinated quality assurance activities, including review and reporting of relevant information.
2. Participating cooperatively within the team to fulfill departmental goals and responsibilities.
3. Engaging in teaching and learning opportunities.
4. Analyzing data from reports of mis-dictations and radiological reports.
5. Implementing corrective actions when issues are identified.
6. Monitoring physician reading rooms.
7. Supporting departmental focus groups.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.07 - $23.36 Hourly

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience required.
• No licensure required.

Physical Demands: Primarily sedentary work involving extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel to attend meetings and programs.
