Job summary

Starting hourly rate is $19.26 with potential earnings on the ESP Salary Scale from $19.26 to $34.84. This position supports at-risk students through targeted literacy and math interventions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet Highly Qualified status via A.A. degree / 48 credits or Paraprofessional Assessment Test.
• Regular attendance and ability to work with diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Administer universal screening assessments as assigned.
• Work with school teams to implement action plans that accelerate literacy and math achievement.
• Provide explicit and targeted intervention to at-risk students.
• Maintain records of progress and support provided in a timely fashion.
• Maintain confidentiality of student, family, and school information.
• Participate in professional development activities and collaborate with district staff.
• Develop effective communication with students, school teams, and the district.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Literacy Achievement Coordinator.
