Job summary

The position covers 7 hours per day within a 10-month work year, reporting to the Building Administrator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Meets Highly Qualified status if an A.A. degree, 48 credit hours, or paraprofessional test is achieved.
• Two years of school setting or child-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional activities.
• Assist in maintaining classroom organization and a positive learning environment.
• Assist with supervision of students during instructional and non-instructional times.
• Provide information on child development and parenting skills to parents/child care providers.
