Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; submit diploma with application.
• Title I requirement: HS diploma minimum or higher with 48 college credits or an associate/BA degree, or MasterTeacher exam.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in literacy development and reinforce reading/language arts.
• Work with students individually and in small groups.
• Assist staff with classroom exercises, tests, and assessments.
• Support instructional materials and adapt strategies to student needs.
• Document student learning and performance records.
• Support classroom behavior management and ensure safety.
• Supervise in playground or lunchroom as needed.
• Assist with parent contact to involve families.
