Job summary

You will conduct small group instruction, monitor progress, collaborate with SBIT and the leadership team, and communicate with families to support literacy growth across grades K-5.

Qualifications

• License for Elementary Education PreK-6 and at least three years of teaching experience.
• Ability to analyze data at multiple levels to tailor instruction and improve outcomes.
• Knowledge of literacy instruction theory and pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Provides small group reading instruction for K-2, with opportunities for 3-5.
• Leads monthly intervention professional development for school staff.
• Works with SBIT to identify students needing Tier III interventions.
• Implements Tier III reading interventions using evidence-based methods.
• Monitors student progress and communicates with families regarding literacy growth.
• Maintains records and collaborates with leadership to guide progress.
