Del Mar Union School District seeks a part-time teacher for 20-22 hours per week, 185 days per year, at approximately $50 per hour. The role requires a California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential (CLAD or equivalent) or the ability to obtain one, with 1-2 years of classroom teaching preferred.

Knowledge of effective reading instruction is highly valued. Exact start times will align with school schedules.

Details About This Position

• LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 185 days
• HOURS PER WEEK: 20 - 22 hours per week
• "TYPICAL" SCHEDULE: exact start and end times will be slightly variable based on school site's schedules but will fall within school hours (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)
• SALARY: $50.00 per hour
• ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or be able to obtain a California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, with CLAD certification or equivalent. At least 1-2 years of successful classroom teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge/training in effective instructional approaches for reading
