Job summary

BRYAN STATION MIDDLE is seeking a Reading Intervention Instructor (0.7 FTE) to provide direct intervention services to students performing below grade level in Lexington, KY. The role emphasizes small-group and targeted support to accelerate growth and collaborate with staff on CSIP-related initiatives.

The candidate should hold a Kentucky Teaching Certificate, with a preference for a Master’s degree or National Board Certification and 3 years of classroom teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master’s degree or National Board Certification preferred.
• Three years of successful classroom teaching (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Implements with fidelity research-based intervention strategies and intervention programs designed to improve achievement of targeted students.
• Provides intervention in small group and/or one-on-one instructional settings.
• Provides leadership to the school in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and standards.
• Serves on school level teams/committees and supports teachers in planning/implementing interventions.
• Administers and analyzes data from diagnostic assessments and assists with universal screeners.
