Newport Independent Schools at Newport Intermediate School seeks an Intervention Teacher focused on literacy and mathematics to provide targeted supports for students performing below grade level. Instruction is data-driven and uses iReady assessments and district benchmarks to guide interventions.

The role requires three years of classroom teaching experience and a valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate, with collaboration across staff to support CSIP and district standards.

Competenze

• Three (3) years of successful classroom teaching (preferred).
• Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certificate.
• Focus on literacy and mathematics with data-driven intervention strategies.

Mansioni

• Provide direct intervention services to students in small group and/or one-on-one settings.
• Administer and analyze data from diagnostic assessments and progress monitoring.
• Lead and participate in leadership activities related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and standards.
• Collaborate with school teams/committees to support the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP).
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff about progress.
