Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university.
• Certification as required by the state of South Carolina in the field of assignments as follows.
• K-5 Interventionist must be state certified in Elementary, Early Childhood or Reading; Middle School Interventionists in Elementary, Reading or Middle Level ELA; High School Interventionists in Secondary English.

Responsibilities

• Implement with fidelity the assigned program of study.
• Deliver focused reading intervention instruction.
• Administer and interpret assessment data to determine progress and identify students in need of intervention.
• Establish clear objectives for learning activities and monitor achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with staff and parents as needed.
• Manage student behavior and participate in meetings and professional development.
