Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification; Reading Specialist endorsement or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of structured literacy approaches and evidence-based reading interventions.
• Experience working with diverse learners and using assessment-driven instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ reading levels using screening and diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement individualized and small-group intervention plans.
• Deliver explicit instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction regularly.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to coordinate supports.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare progress reports.
