The Huntington seeks a Reader Services Coordinator to oversee the on-desk reader registration process and orientation, ensuring welcoming access to library services for readers, researchers, and staff.

Responsibilities include interlibrary loan, departmental administration, communications, staff training, and systems support, with occasional evening hours. A background in serving diverse communities and comfort with library technology are essential.

Formación

• Demonstrated ability to provide welcoming, professional service in front-facing environments.
• Strong organizational, clerical, and communication skills; ability to balance priorities.
• Experience with library catalogs, finding aids, and information discovery tools.
• Familiarity with HTML/web-content editing and library systems.
• Two+ years of relevant customer service, library, or administrative experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide regular Reader Registration Desk coverage and onboarding support.
• Coordinate reader registration, applications, renewals, and reader accounts.
• Assist research fellows and staff; support diverse user groups.
• Support interlibrary loan workflows and routine ILL tasks.
• Maintain Reader Services calendars, procedures, and reporting.
