Job summary

Priority Recruitment is excited to present this fulfilling opportunity for an experienced Support Worker in the Essex area, supporting our client at home.

This role involves full personal care, manual handling, physiotherapy assistance, and facilitating community access on a 2:1 basis. A calm, reassuring, chatty personality is valued, and you must hold a UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and business insurance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with adults with complex conditions or behavioural difficulties.
• Excellent communication skills including non-verbal communication.
• Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support the client in his own home on a 2:1 basis.
• Provide personal care, manual handling, physiotherapy and community access as required.
• Assist with non-verbal communication and maintain the client’s routine.

Job Type: Full time 36 hours per week (days , waking nights, sleeps 7:30am-19:30pm and 19:30pm-7:30am)

Must: Drive (UK licence – manual or automatic)

• Supporting our client in his own home on a 2:1 basis
• Full support required including all personal care, manual handling, physiotherapy, community access , non-verbal communication
• Our client enjoys his routine and would lie someone reassuring , calm and chatty to support him

Successful Applicant:

• Previous experience working with adults with complex conditions or behavioural difficulties including Level 2 transcribing and complex bowel and catheter care
• Excellent communication skills including non-verbal communication
• Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance
