Acorn Stairlifts UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department, covering the Carlisle area. The role involves travelling daily to customer homes to service and repair stairlifts, with occasional overnight stays.

You will diagnose faults, perform hands-on troubleshooting, carry out safety checks, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure high satisfaction and timely actions. Full training provided and a company van are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or maintenance roles is essential.
• Strong fault diagnosis and hands-on repair skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department covering the Carlisle area.

*** MUST BE BASED IN THE CA POSTCODE AREA ***

The role consists of:

Travelling on a daily basis to our customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts.

May include multiple overnight stays per week.

Diagnosing, and providing hands on troubleshooting, service, and repairs to existing Stairlifts within the field

Meeting all target and deadlines in a professional and timely manner.

Provide high levels of customer service - ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions, with the assistance of management.

Carrying out the product update and safety checks in a safe manner

To communicate effectively with external customers, and provide customer feedback.
