Job summary

Volt is hiring Reach Truck Operators in Baytown, Texas. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with duties including shipping, receiving, packaging, and related housekeeping tasks in a warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and have hands-on experience operating a Reach Truck or similar heavy equipment. A pre-screening check is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid/current driver\'s license.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience operating a Reach Truck or similar heavy equipment.
• Must be able to pass pre-screening.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping, receiving, and packaging of inbound/outbound shipments, plus housekeeping duties.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, sort, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Package products according to company and customer specifications.

Volt is immediately hiring Reach Truck Operators in Baytown, Texas.

As a Reach Truck Operator, you will:

• Responsible for various functions associated with shipping, receiving, and the packaging of inbound/outbound shipments along with various housekeeping duties
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, sort, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Package products according to company and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Must have a valid/current driver's license.
• Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.
• This position requires the use of heavy equipment where skills must align with prior working experience on a Reach Truck.
• Must be able to pass pre-screening requirements.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday - 2:30 pm to 12am

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
