Job summary

Arhaus is hiring for a distribution center Equipment Operator to operate reach truck/high-level picking equipment and assist with order selection, staging, and inventory control. Responsibilities include RF-based picking, accurate item retrieval, and safe handling of merchandise.

The role requires lifting up to 150 lbs, 1–2 years of equipment experience, and a high school diploma. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with comprehensive benefits and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

Ability to lift 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
High school diploma/GED.
1–2 years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit down tow motor, or rider pallet jack.
Ability to operate equipment at heights up to 35 ft.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Working knowledge of computer programs.
Understanding of distribution/warehousing processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

Pick and put away using power mobile material handling equipment (cherry picker/reach truck/high-level picker).
Use RF gun to select orders and put away product based on system-directed order types.
Retrieve items for delivery/picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas.
Maintain inventory accuracy by moving product via RF transactions.
Ensure merchandise integrity during movement from rack to dock, damage-free.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently according to company standards.
