Job summary

Arhaus is hiring for a distribution center Equipment Operator to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise using reach trucks and related equipment.

The role requires lifting up to 150 lbs, operating equipment at heights up to 35 ft, and performing order picking with RF scanners. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant experience are expected, with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
• High school diploma/GED.
• 1–2 years of experience operating an order picker, cherry picker, reach truck, sit-down tow motor, or rider pallet jack.
• Ability to operate equipment at a height up to 35 ft.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; computer literacy.
• Understanding of general warehousing processes (order picking, packing, shipping/receiving).

Responsibilities

• Pick and put away using power mobile equipment (reach truck/cherry picker/high-level picker).
• Use RF gun to select orders and move product per system-directed orders.
• Retrieve items for delivery/picking and stage inventory accurately.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by recording RF transactions.
• Ensure merchandise integrity from rack to dock during movement.
• Operate equipment safely following company standards.
