Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator to move products and materials using electric-powered trucks while adhering to safety standards. You will load/unload pallets, log weights, counts, and item conditions via RF systems, and perform daily maintenance.

Responsibilities include coordinating with truck drivers, supervising safety inspections, and maintaining batteries and chargers. The role requires flexibility, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and comfort with noisy environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the official language.
• Able to work in temperatures from -20 F to 100 F in cold/dry storage.
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with various noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, transports, load and unload to a designated area.
• Record weight, counts, and condition of items via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain charging station.
