Helicopter Jobs in Gilroy, CA seeks a full-time HAA pilot to transport patients for REACH operations. You will work with medical experts to ensure safety and compliance with FAR and REACH requirements.

Responsibilities include aircraft readiness, accurate documentation, and effective communication with dispatch and flight crews. Requires rotorcraft FAA Commercial, instrument rating, medical certificate, and substantial turbine helicopter hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate and helicopter instrument rating.
• Medical certificate appropriate for flight operations (Class I or II).
• Thousands of flight hours, including turbine hours and PIC time.
• Ability to meet weight, night, and instrument time requirements.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients with medical teams between locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR/REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch, crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information per REACH change-board protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA Pilot Full-Time Opportunity

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Safety isa key pillar of ourservices.

Incentives

• $124,263 - $136,689 Salary including 40% Geo Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• $5K Single Pilot IFR (SPIFR) Stipend
• On Duty Housing (for select locations)
• 7 Days On and 7 Days Off Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording A REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Cumulative Hours of Instrument Flight Time
• 200 Helicopter Hours Night Hours Aided or Unaided
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135/H135 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
