Job summary

Global Medical Response's REACH division seeks a Helicopter Pilot for medical air transport. This full-time role focuses on safe patient transfers, aircraft readiness, and regulatory compliance across REACH operations.

Requires FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, FAA medical certificate, and extensive flight hours including PIC and turbine experience. 7 days on, 7 days off schedule; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA medical certificate (Class I/II) required.
• High flight hour counts as listed in minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch per manuals and REACH/FAA rules.
• Maintain REACH regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change info for REACH change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA Pilot Full-Time Opportunity

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand REACH requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateREACH and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successivepilotandteamfollowingprotocol forrecordingA REACH change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000Helicopter PICHours
• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 100 Cumulative Hours of Instrument Flight Time
• 200 Helicopter Hours Night Hours Aided or Unaided
• 230 poundweight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• EC135/H135Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
