Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services in Colorado is hiring a HAA Pilot on a full-time basis to transport patients as part of a medical air transport team. The role demands extensive rotorcraft flight hours, instrument rating, and compliance with FAA and REACH standards for safety and aircraft readiness.

This position offers a competitive salary with a sign-on bonus, housing, and retention bonuses. The crew operates on a 7/7 schedule to support critical medical missions and timely patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Total Flight Hours: 2,000 minimum.
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours minimum.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours minimum.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours minimum.
• Minimum 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical professionals to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals and FAA/REACH requirements; maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per REACH change board protocols.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $102,073- $112,280 including 15% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• Minimum 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• H130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
• Upload your Pilot License and FAA Medical Certificate
