Job summary

Global Medical Response's REACH helicopter air ambulance is seeking a qualified HAA Pilot on a full-time basis to transport patients safely under medical supervision. Responsibilities include coordinating with medical teams, ensuring aircraft readiness, maintaining logs, and complying with FAR/REACH requirements; on-duty housing and a 7/7 schedule.

Minimums: FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, helicopter instrument rating, medical certificate, 2000 helicopter hours incl PIC, 1000 turbine

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating and FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours and 2,000 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Night helicopter hours (200) required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team and REACH crew.
• Ensure aircraft readiness and dispatch compliance per FAR/REACH.
• Maintain REACH documentation and regulatory records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
• Provide shift-change information per protocol for recording REACH changes.

HAA PILOT Full-Time Opportunity

We’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

• Salary Range: $110,949- $122,044 including 25% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and teamfollowing protocol for recording A REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• AS350/H125 EC130/H130 Aircraft Experience
