Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a HAA Pilot for a full-time role in the United States. You will operate helicopter air ambulance missions, ensuring aircraft readiness and adherence to REACH and FAR requirements, while coordinating closely with dispatch and flight crews.

Qualified candidates hold a Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and an FAA medical certificate, with thousands of helicopter hours.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate required.
• Total 2,000 flight hours in helicopters minimum.
• 2,000 helicopter hours total time logged.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours minimum.
• 1,000 turbine helicopter hours preferred.
• 200 helicopter night hours (aided or unaided) for eligibility.
• Weight limit 230 pounds with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely with a medical team in air ambulance missions.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FAR and REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews and facilities.
• Provide shift-change information to next pilot and team per protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $106,511- $117,162 including 20%Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• 12K Area Float Stipend
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand REACH requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateREACH and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successivepilotandteamfollowingprotocol forrecordingA REACH change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training
