Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a HAA Pilot for a full-time position to provide medical air transportation for REACH customers. The role requires FAA rotorcraft certification, helicopter instrument rating, medical clearance, and specific flight hour thresholds.

Salary ranges from $106,511 to $117,162 with a 20% geographic modifier, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus and retention bonuses. On-duty housing is available, and the 7/7 schedule supports extended family and travel needs.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate required.
• Total flight hours and helicopter hours requirements are specified in the ad.
• Night flight hours (200) are noted as a qualification requirement.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with medical air transportation teams.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR/REACH requirements.
• Maintain REACH paperwork and regulatory records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information for REACH change board records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical expertstosafelytransport customers to and fromlocations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesas described in the appropriate manuals,includingallFARand REACH requirements, andaircraft cleanlinessduties
• MaintainaccurateREACH and regulatorydocumentation andrecord keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaboratewith dispatch, flight crews,facilities,and partners
• Provide shift change infoto successivepilotandteamfollowingprotocol forrecordingA REACH change boarddetails
• Accountable tomaintainrequiredcertifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000Helicopter PICHours
• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 helicopter hours night hours aided or unaided
• 230 poundweight limit with flight gear

• EC130/H130 Aircraft Experience
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
