Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Westminster, MD. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods through our distribution process, ensuring inventory accuracy and safety in multi-temperature areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months of warehouse experience, and the ability to work overtime. You will help maintain GMP standards and participate in general housekeeping and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience with forklift standup/reach included.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime as needed.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift (10–90 lbs).
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and place pallets with forklift or hand stack.
• Transport incoming freight to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock per next day’s work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspect pallets for damage and move to storage area.
• Follow safety policies and wear proper PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location.
