Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to work with our dentist at Mission Viejo Dental Associates. The role involves assisting with oral surgeries, preparing rooms and maintaining infection control, while delivering excellent patient care.

Requirements include RDA certification, CPR/BLS, and experience in general or oral surgery. Compensation ranges from $25 to $27 per hour, with benefits available depending on status.

Qualifications

• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Registered dental assistant (RDA) qualification.
• Must have general or oral surgery experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during procedures (wisdom teeth, implants).
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and surgical equipment.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control protocols.
• Review patient histories and update records; obtain vitals before/during/after procedures.
• Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT scans as allowed.
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
