OC Perio & Implants Dental Group in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a dependable Dental Assistant (RDA or DA) to support periodontal and implant procedures. The role emphasizes surgical support, room preparation, X-ray imaging, and maintaining sterile operatory standards.

Requirements include RDA/DA certification, X-ray and CPR certification, and a patient-focused, organized, team-oriented approach. Competitive hourly pay ($28–$32) with bonus opportunities and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• RDA or DA certification is required.
• X-ray certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Perio/implant or surgical assisting experience is preferred (but not required).
• Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and clinical setup.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during periodontal and implant procedures (surgical and non-surgical).
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Take and process digital X-rays and clinical photos (as applicable).
• Maintain sterilization, infection control, and operatory readiness to a high standard.
• Support patient experience: welcoming, reassuring, and attentive care.
• Chart accurately and support clinical documentation as needed.
• Stock and maintain supplies; support back-office systems and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth handoffs and on-time patient flow.
